Hello…
Looks like I’ve got myself involved in another sponsored event, but this time it’s a good way out of my comfort zone.
This Sunday (27th November), I’ll be taking part in Manchester’s Winter ‘Urbanathlon‘ – a 5km run in Platt Fields Park, with the added thrills and spills of obstacles and challenges liberally applied to the course. More information about the Urbanathlon can be found here.
So why should eight colleagues and I be putting ourselves through such an ordeal? Well, it’s all for a good cause, of course! On this occasion, the Helping Hands Trust which is Pure’s parent company’s own charity. Helping Hands provides assistance to people in times of hardship in the UK or overseas. Money raised at this event will go specifically towards our continuing support for the Shangri-La children’s home in Nepal. Some more information about the Helping Hands Trust can be found here.
To make donating easy and convenient, we’ve set up a JustGiving page. It would be great if you could help out in whatever small way you can.
If you want to come and offer support/witness the torture first hand, it all starts at 1pm, this Sunday afternoon (27th November) at Platt Fields Park, Manchester.
Thanks.
Richard
A sad day today for the Pure Creative team, as Emilia, who we’ve been working alongside for the last 9 months is moving on.
During this time, Emilia has been a fantastic help as a Marketing Co-ordinator and copywriter, and numerous projects have benefitted from her input and hard work.
The team would like to wish Emilia all the best and wish her every success. We’ll miss you.

Pure has recently designed the exhibition stand for partner companies Equity Solutions and Community 1st who exhibited at the Healthcare Estates exhibition at Manchester Central on 1st and 2nd November.
The stand itself had to carry the branding of both companies and a wealth of messages and information. The centre-piece was a video presentation created by Pure. The video screen multi-tasked as live data and demonstrations from estates management software was streamed via iPads.
A range of printed collateral was also designed and produced by Pure, including a service information pack and the unveiling of a marketing campaign we have been working on to promote the organisations’ range of services. More about this in a future post.
All elements of the stand are re-useable and will find a home at Community 1st’s headquarters at the Integrated Care Centre in Oldham.
