This week, the Pure team ventured out of the studio and headed to the Lake District to visit Kankku – the 4×4 off-road and rally driving experts based in Windermere.
Pure is about to embark on the redesign of the Kankku website and new marketing materials, so owner Nick Fieldhouse invited us to spend the day getting the full off-road experience. Under the patient guidance of Kankku team member Ellen, we all took turns behind the wheel of the Land Rover Defender, tackling three hair-raising routes across the spectacular Cumbrian countryside.
It wasn’t just about the fun and challenge of taking on the mountains; we were also hard at work photographing and shooting video of the day so we can use the footage on the new site – certainly not a typical Tuesday in the office!
Big thanks to Nick and Kate and all the team up there in Windermere. To find out more about the Kankku off-road and rally experience, visit their current website here. The new one is coming soon and we can’t see it being too much of an up-hill challenge.

Building on our experience working with law firms, Pure Creative has acquired two new clients in the legal sector.
TWP Solicitors based in Heaton Moor near Stockport have commissioned a full re-brand and website redesign and a brand new website is being developed for Blackburn-based Garricks by the team at Pure in Leyland.
Both websites will make full use of modern web solutions, taking advantage of social media and syndication of marketing messages across the Internet.
The holding page for Garricks hints at their visual direction (www.garrickslaw.co.uk) and they are working with key members of the firm to build the website structure over the coming months.
Pure will be providing a full re-brand for TWP Solicitors, along with a completely redesigned website featuring the new identity. Clare Butcher, Head of Business Development at TWP said, “Pure-Creative created the brand and website at my previous law practice and I was so impressed with the results that we have commissioned Pure to re-invent the brand and website at TWP.”
Previously Pure has worked with Blackpool law firm Taylor McPhee Solicitors to provide a full branding service and website (www.taylormcphee.co.uk). The website itself includes quoting and client management systems, with a fully featured case tracking interface. Lori McPhee said that the website, “far exceeded our expectations”, being “extremely attractive and functional” and offering “many features far superior to our rivals”.

This week, we have been doing a photoshoot at Turton Tower, just north of Bolton. Pure has recently completed the re-branding of this grade 1 listed building which dates back to the early 15th century. It’s a fascinating place to visit and the pics are for a visual guide we are currently working on.
